The 17th Maker Faire Bay Area returns September 26–28, transforming Vallejo’s historic Mare Island Naval Shipyard into a hub of invention, creativity, and discovery. Known as the “Greatest Show-and-Tell on Earth,” Maker Faire brings together more than 20,000 creators, crafters, artisans, and participants for a weekend of hands-on learning, live demonstrations, and inspiring showcases. You don’t have to be a student or teacher to get a kick out of the Maker Faire Bay Area, though. They invite anyone with a curious streak to roll up their sleeves and be inspired. // Maker Faire Bay Area is Friday, Sept. 26th through Sunday, Sept. 28th; Mare Island Naval Shipyard, 560 Nimitz Ave. (Vallejo), makerfaire.com(Carlo Cantavalli)//
