Registration of VesselsAll vessels using the Shannon Navigation, which includes the Shannon-Erne Waterways and the Erne System must be registered with Waterways Ireland. Events Held on the WaterwaysAll organised events taking place on the waterways must have the prior approval of Waterways Ireland. Masters of vessels must use the mooring fingers for mooring of vessels and for embarkation / disembarkation from vessels. SlipwaysSlipways should only be used for the purpose of launching and recovering of water craft or other objects from the water. Masters of Vessels are requested to use the most up to date Navigation guides when navigating on the Inland Waterways.
