The Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA) has issued a notice for the seafood industry on technical requirements for Irish companies trading with Taiwan.
It has also published a separate information notice in relation to exports to French Polynesia.
In addition, consignments destined for French Polynesia must be accompanied by a copy of the SFPA Sanitary Certificate for trade with French Polynesia, the SFPA says.
For Irish seafood exports to Taiwan, the SFPA says the Taiwanese authorities maintain a system whereby only products on their approved lists can be exported from Ireland to Taiwan.
