The end-of-season event at Royal Cork Yacht Club on 27th/28th October is developing into a 'homecoming celebration' for a highly successful season, giving fellow Irish ILCA sailors the chance to get on the water with some of Ireland's best sailors. Double Olympian Finn Lynch will be joined by Ewan McMahon and several senior international sailors, all aiming for the 2028 Olympics and beyond. Both Finn and Ewan have enjoyed a very successful season across Grand Slam events, with Finn winning the final event just this weekend. The ILCA 4 class is set to be highly competitive, with local Crosshaven sailors having an excellent chance to reach the podium, according to Kingston. Race Officer John Corkery, fresh from the U21 Worlds in Dun Laoghaire, will be utilising robotic marks to give this final ILCA Ireland event of the standout 2025 season a true international championship feel.
