FLUSHING — Two separate incidents involving bicycles took place in Flushing last week. Colosky said the driver allegedly left the scene and was then taken into custody at his home. The second incident took place on Sept. 12 as a 73-year-old woman was crossing 300 W. Main St. on her bike in the crosswalk when a vehicle struck the front tire of her bike. Colosky said it does appear that the lights were flashing in the crosswalk at the time the bike was struck. The driver was also referred to the Secretary of State for a driver re-examination.
