Upon arrival and after receiving updated information, crews confirmed the incident involved a Union Pacific Railroad train and a ruptured natural gas pipeline. A multi-agency response was immediately launched, with assistance from:Laramie County Fire Authority Cheyenne Fire and Rescue Laramie County Fire District 1 Laramie County Emergency Management Through rapid and coordinated efforts, the fire was brought under control. While no evacuation orders have been issued, firefighters are vigilantly monitoring the situation and working closely with Union Pacific representatives. Update: CFR personnel representing Wyoming Regional Response Team #7 (hazamt) remain on scene with representatives of Union Pacific and Laramie County Fire Districts. Union Pacific and/or Laramie County Fire Authority will be releasing any further information.
