Cheyenne Police are saying that a shooting incident which claimed the life of a 19-year-old man on Saturday may have grown out of a ''road rage" confrontation. Police spokeswoman Alex Farkas on Monday afternoon released an update on the investigation into the shooting death of the man near the King Soopers grocery store a little after 9 p.m. on Saturday. When police rushed to the scene on a report of shots fired, they found the 19-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds. She says statements to police indicate the 19-year-old and three of his friends, traveling in a Chevrolet Cavalier, apparently got into a road road incident with the shooter, who was driving a Ford Raptor. The vehicles followed each other along Dell Range Boulevard before pulling into the King Soopers parking lot, where the dispute escalated before ending with the shooting.
