A warrant is out for the arrest of a Texas lawyer accused of cyberstalking a partner understood to work at Latham & Watkins, and an associate. ‘V1’, a partner in New York, phoned the FBI in June to report that Amber Chen was targeting him and an associate, ‘V2’, who lives in California. The day V1 reported his concerns, Chen gave the FBI another tip – that V1 was her brother, and that V2 was hiring a killer to murder her in Texas. The next day, on June 16th, V1 provided the FBI with a series of screenshots of Chen’s social media posts, according to the arrest warrant. "If I ever see you anywhere around [V1’s law firm] anywhere on earth, you will be eliminated on the spot."
