More infoGardai have not yet determined whether they will upgrade an investigation into the disappearance of a child to murder, despite a post mortem exam being completed. As a result sources say the decision to move the investigation on from a missing persons case still has not been made. Gardai recovered most of the believed skeletal remains of Daniel from the land last Wednesday - after searching the area that was identified by his mother - who is cooperating with the investigation. Gardai are understood to be working to establish if the story told to them by the child's parents stands up. One touching tribute note left by the site with flowers read: "So sorry Daniel that the world let you down."
