Marathon, the upcoming multiplayer shooter from Bungie, will reportedly not be showing up at this week's State of Play broadcast. The studio's been reluctant to discuss its game for months now, following on from the disastrous revelation that the project had plagiarised a plethora of art assets. Bungie was forced to carry out a "thorough review" of the situation back in May, leading to Marathon being delayed indefinitely a month or so later. At the time, reports claimed that the developer was in turmoil behind the scenes, and there were even whispers of a potential cancellation. Apparently, Bungie is currently conducting a number of closed alpha tests behind the scenes as it attempts to reshape the project.
