Betty Jean Hamilton, 89, passed away October 1, 2025 at Willow Ridge - Frieda House in Bluffton. Betty was born June 20, 1936 in Bluffton to the late Walter and Beulah (Slusser) Hamilton. She then received her bachelor's degree in education from Bluffton College and later her master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Betty taught school at Findlay City Schools for one year before spending thirty years teaching in the Bluffton School system. Professionally, she was a member of the Ohio Education Association, the National Education Association, Ohio Retired Teachers and the Hancock County Retired Teachers.
