Last night the Valley’s very own Kaden McGregor made his Ontario Hockey League debut with the Peterborough Petes. Thursday’s game against the Erie Otters was hosted at the Peterborough Memorial Centre drawing in a crowd of over 3,600. The Peterborough Petes put up a strong effort, lighting up the Otters’ goaltender Noah Erliden with 45 shots. Even though his first game was a loss McGregor is settling in with the team and area quite comfortably. Next up McGregor and the Petes are on the road to face off against the Brantford Bulldogs tonight at 7 p.m.(Written by Mik Horvath)
