New Ipswich marks 275 years with festive parade, music and fireworks show

New Ipswich will celebrate its 275th anniversary Saturday with a parade and Autumnfest at Memorial Park.
The parade steps off from Boynton Middle School at 10 a.m., travels down Turnpike Road and turns right onto Temple Road before ending at Memorial Park.
Autumnfest runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Memorial Park, featuring a hayride, Touch-a-Truck, vendors, food trucks and children’s carnival games.
Fireworks will close the celebration at 7:30 p.m. at Mascenic Regional High School.
Parking is available at Highbridge Hill Elementary School and Mascenic Regional High School.
