STERLING, Utah-Waterford won the 2A Boys Golf State Title Thursday at Palisade State Park Golf Course by one stroke over the Beaver Beavers, which came in second. Waterford finished the tournament at 75-over par, while Beaver finished at 76-over par. Individually North Summit senior Bradley Woolstenhulme took home medalist honors with a 5-over par tournament. Beaver’s Taven Young came in sixth, Millard’s Derk Memmott finished seventh and Kyler Moss of Beaver placed 10th. This is Waterford’s seventh all-time boys golf state championship, but the first since 2004.
