The conference will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami. “As a former small business owner, I understand the real-world challenges entrepreneurs face—and what it takes to overcome them,” said Commissioner Higgins. “I saw that while the County and our partners offered valuable resources, many small businesses didn’t know they existed. That’s why I launched Elevate District 5: to bridge those gaps and connect small business owners to opportunities, as well as to each other.
