Much-loved Irish pub chain to open its first B.C. location at the former home of a Vancouver staple

At the end of last year, the much-loved Irish pub Johnnie Fox’s had quietly closed its doors after 20 years of operation. However, we now have an update on what’s to come to the location, and don’t worry, it’s another Irish pub. Canadian pub chain Fionn MacCool’s shared on its website that it will be opening a Vancouver location in the space, marking the chain’s first venture into B.C. “At Fionn MacCool’s Pub, we don’t separate what we believe from what we serve,” wrote Fionn MacCool’s online. An exact opening date for this new Vancouver location has yet to be announced.
