For his brand’s 10th collection, Harris Reed took over London’s Gothic Bar with The Aviary, an SS26 offering that pushed his signature theatrical style just a little further. Tiger print skirts prowled the runway, paired with corsets in rich, embroidered brocade, creating a striking mix of wildness and elegance. The standout came in the form of skeleton-like crinolines, crimson and obsidian structures that framed torsos and skirts like wearable architecture. They brought a playful edge without feeling costumey, turning Reed’s bold silhouettes into something that felt both wearable and performative. Reed also leaned into a fascination with contrasts – containment and freedom, rigidity and release – echoing The Aviary’s cage-like silhouettes set against wing-like extensions.
