Priya Ahluwalia is back on the catwalk after missing a season, recharged and re-energised. It was reflective in the final result, which saw the designer elevate her signature codes. Ahluwalia has always had an excellent eye for colour and here she unveiled fringed cobalt blue tops, chocolate trench coats with matching head wraps and raspberry pink hourglass dresses which snaked elegantly around the shoulders. The designer expanded on her tailoring which included two-tone suit jackets with sharp shoulders and trousers which were fitted with sports-style panelling up the leg. She also flexed her muscles when it came to her sensual going-out dresses (which make up a large chunk of the brand’s custom business).
