The ministry emphasized that women in Yemen are facing serious threats to their safety, freedom, and dignity, including physical abuse, arbitrary detention, and restrictions on movement and employment. France called on all parties to the conflict to respect international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of civilians, especially women and girls. It also urged the global community to take coordinated action to address these violations and to ensure that women are included in peacebuilding and reconstruction processes.
