ADVERTISEMENTAs the vice president of the UK and Ireland Minnesota Vikings Fan Club, Macdonald knew he had to follow through on his declaration. He decided he would attend the game at Croke Park, then bike nearly 400 miles and attend the game in London. It has become common practice for the UK and Ireland Minnesota Vikings Fan Club to do some sort of charity event each time the Vikings play across the pond. The route features him biking between 50 to 60 miles on each leg with overnight stops in Llandudno, Wales, Chester, England, Cannock, England, Warwick, England and Leighton Buzzard, England. Asked why he decided to do it, Macdonald noted that he wanted to make the most of having the UK and Ireland Minnesota Vikings Fan Club having some time in the spotlight.
