Off-Duty Garda Injured During Phibsborough Assault

An off-duty garda in his 20s has been injured in an alleged assault in Dublin.
It happened shortly before 6pm yesterday evening at Royal Canal Bank in Phibsborough as the officer attempted to break up a fight.
The garda, who wasn't working at the time, has been treated for non-life threatening injuries at the Mater Hospital.
