The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office announced that skeletal remains discovered on Sept. 11 have been identified as those of Jamey Eugene Holyoak, who was reported missing in April 2022. According to the sheriff’s office, the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner confirmed the remains were identified them through dental records. Authorities have not released the manner of death or the location within San Juan County where the remains were discovered. The sheriff’s office stated that the investigation is ongoing and no further details are currently available. “The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our condolences to the Holyoak family at this time,” the agency said in a press release.
