That’s according to South African pastor Joshua Mhlakela, who has gone viral after sharing he had a dream the rapture is scheduled for Sept. 23–24, timed with Rosh Hashanah. Across RaptureTok, users are quitting jobs, giving away clothes and even prepping “post-rapture kits” for their neighbors. On X, one user wrote they would spend their “last day on Earth” eating cheese instead of paying student loans.
