GM Offers NACS & Broader Range of Adapters & V2H
['Bryan Johnston']
auto connected car news
General Motors is taking a significant step to ease the transition for its electric vehicle (EV) owners as the industry moves toward the North American Charging Standard (NACS).
These adapters are part of GM’s broader strategy to make EV ownership more convenient and flexible during the transition to a unified charging standard.
The NACS-to-CSS and CCS-to-NACS adapters enable GM vehicles to take advantage of Tesla’s widespread Supercharger network for fast charging, while the J1772-to-NACS adapter allows access to traditional Level 2 charging ports.
For home charging, GM has introduced the PowerShift adapter, ensuring seamless compatibility with its PowerShift charging system.
Ultimately, GM’s introduction of this extensive adapter lineup reflects the company’s commitment to making the EV transition as smooth as possible for its customers.
