TDCI promotes Brittany Thompson to lead Internal Audit teamBrittany Thompson is the new director of the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance's (TDCI) Internal Audit team. Thompson, an experienced audit professional with nearly 15 years of experience, started with the TDCI's Internal Audit team in 2013. She has been promoted to the role after previously serving as an Auditor 4, where she assisted former Internal Audit Director John G. Williams. In her new role, Thompson will lead a team of four auditors and manage compliance audits. TDCI Commissioner Carter Lawrence says that Thompson has demonstrated the knowledge, ability, and commitment to lead her team and the department.
