Milan Iloski and Frankie Westfield added an assist each for the Union (18-7-6, 60 points), who snapped a two-game losing streak across all competitions. The victory also ensured that Philadelphia would remain atop the Supporters' Shield standings. New England (8-15-8, 32 points) ended the match with 10 men as Peyton Miller was shown a red card in the 75th minute. That was the only goal Philadelphia needed as the Revs, despite nine shots, put just one on target.
