San Francisco remained three games out of a National League wild-card spot.McDonald gave up his one run on six hits with one walk and three strikeouts. Adames later walked with the bases loaded to give the Giants their first lead and Chapman followed with his run-scoring grounder.McDonald ran out of gas in the seventh inning. He walked Max Muncy to lead off the seventh before Andy Pages singled.
