Qu launches 'Qube' edge-powered platform for restaurantsPhoto: QuSeptember 15, 2025Qu, a unified commerce platform, has launched Qu Business Edge, or Qube, an edge-powered intelligence platform that promises enhanced reliability, faster order processing and AI-driven insights for restaurants. Qube is available in two series: Qube A (stability, uninterrupted operations) and Qube E (proactive energy/equipment monitoring). A Qube IQu series, featuring real-time AI inference for advanced capabilities like voice and vision AI, is expected in early 2026. "Qube represents a new class of restaurant infrastructure," Darien Bates, Qu chief product officer, said in the release. "It blends physical systems awareness, edge computing and intelligent automation to unlock smarter, safer, and more resilient restaurant operations."
