In Canada, customers may also request toasted sandwiches, a unique option for the brand. "Jimmy John's is a real gem in our restaurant roster," Peter Mammas, president and CEO of Foodtastic, which is leading the chain's expansion into Canada, said in a company press release. Two additional Winnipeg locations are planned to open this fall — one at 1430 Ellice Ave. and another at 360 Broadway. Jimmy John's is part of Foodtastic, a Montreal-based restaurant franchisor with over 1,200 locations and $1 billion in sales across its portfolio.
