Lewis Ballington, 24, pleaded not guilty to three charges when they were read to him at Swansea Crown Court on Wednesday, October 1.
The Ystradgynlais man allegedly repeatedly or continuously engaged in behaviour that was controlling or coercive between October 2024 and February this year.
He denies being physically abusive, making threats to assault, being verbally abusive, intimidating and restricting social contact and controlling the woman's appearance.
Ballington, of Min y Rhos, Ystradgynlais, was told that the earliest date that the court can put him on trial is June 22, 2026.
He was released from the dock on the same bail conditions by Judge Geraint Walters at Swansea Crown Court.
