Arnold Woolley, who leads the team, told the Leader he and his colleagues carried out four roadside sessions at 20mph locations throughout the month. A total of 82 speeders were recorded during those four sessions, all of whom were clocked travelling at 26mph or greater. On Nant Mawr Road, near Marleyfield House care home, a total of 26 speeders were recorded, meanwhile on the A549 a total of 22 were clocked. The highest speed recorded during the month was 53mph at Nant Mawr Road. Cllr Woolley raised serious concern about bad driving habits he and his team witnessed during the monitoring sessions.
