Furthermore, according to White & Brooks, Chichester is home to one of the UK's most "perfect" high streets. This accolade was bestowed upon the city's high street following a 2024 analysis by Which? The survey identified the key elements of an 'ideal' high street, and Chichester's high street was found to tick all the boxes. According to those surveyed, the perfect high street should feature a good pharmacy, pub, florist, deli, ice cream parlour, farm produce shops, vintage shops, record stores and health food shops.
