GEITA: GEITA Gold Mining Limited (GGML), in proud partnership with the Lake Victoria Golf Club, will host the 25th edition of the Geita Open Golf Tournament this weekend at the Lake Victoria Golf Club in Geita. Set against the unique backdrop of a nine-hole desert-style course established in 1999, the Lake Victoria Golf Club has been home to the Geita Open since its inception. Echoing the sentiment, Acting Golf Chairman of Lake Victoria Golf Club, Isack Schutte, highlighted the deep-rooted connection between the club and the mine. Hosting the 25th Geita Open alongside GGML is a fitting tribute to our shared history. The 2025 Geita Open will feature two full days of thrilling golf, community engagement activities and high-level networking.
