The Keta Municipal Hospital has officially launched its centenary celebrations, marking 100 years of healthcare service in the Volta Region and beyond. “Today, we serve not only the people of Keta but also referrals from other districts and regions, offering emergency, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and specialised services,” Dr Bonsu said. It has also won several awards, including Best Hospital in the Volta Region (2017) and Best Peer-Reviewed Hospital (2014–2016). Dr Bonsu emphasised that the hospital’s centenary vision is to upgrade from a primary to a full secondary healthcare facility. Representing the Volta Regional Minister, Keta Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Wisdom Seade, praised the resilience and dedication of the hospital’s staff over the years.
