JOHANNESBURG - ArcelorMittal SA says it has not received a formal offer from the Industrial Development Corporation. It follows news reports that the IDC wants to make an offer for the steel giant. Government and various stakeholders have been in talks for months to save around 4,000 jobs. The steel giant says it's been forced to wind down its long steel business in Vereeniging and Newcastle.
