Liverpool Women have confirmed the return of ex-captain Niamh Fahey. Fahey rejoins Liverpool as their first-ever technical coordinator which will see her play a key role in shaping and supporting the team’s future technical direction. She returns after completing a Masters degree in Business Administration at Liverpool John Moores University as well as her UEFA B coaching licence. Liverpool Women’s managing director Andy O’Boyle said: “I’m thrilled that Niamh agreed to take on what will be an extremely important position within our women’s staff, elevating our sporting standards and contributing to the long-term development of the women’s programme. “I know our fans will join me in giving her a warm welcome back to the club.”
