A man has died following an industrial incident in Kirkdale. A second man in his 20s was also injured during the incident and he remains in hospital, where his condition is currently described as stable. A joint investigation into the circumstances of this incident is being carried out by detectives from Merseyside Police and the Health and Safety Executive. Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of this man as they continue to grieve at this tragic time. “We are still in the early stages of investigating this incident and we are determined to get answers about what happened.
