Moray Council has issued advice for residents as Storm Amy is forecast to bring strong winds from Friday evening into Sunday morning. The Met Office has issued an amber “be prepared” weather warning for parts of Moray. A Moray Council spokesperson said: “Residents should prepare for possible disruption.”The key risks include:• Damage to trees and structures due to very strong winds. • Travel disruption, including potential road closures and delays or cancellations to public transport services. “Open Spaces teams will respond where safe to do so, but in severe conditions, road closures may be necessary until debris can be safely removed.
