The exhibition ‘Lee Miller’ features the most extensive collection of her works seen so far in the UK, with around 250 vintage and modern prints. After initial rejection, Miller persuaded British Vogue to let her photograph the outbreak of the Second World War. ‌By looking through her lens, viewers are transported to the landscapes of Europe and Egypt, and step back in time to critical moments of the Second World War. In April 1945, photographer David E. Scherman snapped the historic picture of Miller in Hitler’s bathtub in Munich.
