Upton Fish and Chip Shop is famous for its coal-fired range, which is used to fry its haddock, cod and chips. Behind the counter I could see the coal-fired range, and it looked like something that should be in a museum. All of the fish fried comes from Grimsby and the potatoes are from Lincolnshire, which was nice to hear. The chips were also lovely and crisp, and had the perfect amount of salt and vinegar on them. However, it was too good to waste and the chips were a great snack for picking at later on.
