Debut author Zach Thomas of Eureka has released “Ninjazz,” an adventure novel set in the vibrant Edo period of Japan. The paperback is available at Eureka Books in Old Town Eureka, with an audiobook edition planned for release soon. Thomas, says he draws inspiration from his own experience of finding community far from home. “Being in California, so different from where I grew up, I found family in the friends and beauty all around me,” Thomas said. “That sense of discovery fueled ‘Ninjazz.’”Special events, including book signings and readings, are in the works, he said, with details to be announced soon on Instagram @Nebari_Studios.
