Southend City Council revealed that an operation had uncovered a network of retailers using vehicles and residential addresses to hide illegal stock.
The council's Trading Standards team, in collaboration with Essex Police, seized illegal cigarettes, tobacco, vapes and counterfeit toys, including popular Labubu and Pop Mart dolls.
The total value of the seized goods is estimated at around £45,000.
Labubu toys became famous due to a celebrity-fuelled social media trend, particularly on Tik-Tok.
