Emergency services descended on a residential road in Wavertree at around 10.30pm on Thursday, October 2, following reports that a man had been stabbed with a bladed weapon. ‌Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service attended the property on Seamen Road where they found a 56-year-old man had suffered stab and laceration wounds to his arms and legs. He said: "At around 10.30pm the police came down here, I just saw him on the floor covered in blood at his front door. A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of s18 wounding and a 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of s18 wounding with intent and assisting an offender.
