He said: "I wonder if we can have some training or regulations sent out to us on CCTV as they are popping up everywhere and I wasn't aware that you needed planning permission to put CCTV up. Article continues belowJoanne White, development management team leader, clarified: "There are permitted development rights as regards CCTV but it all depends on how many and their proximity to each other as regards whether you need planning permission or not.
