16 of the best hotels in Dublin
['Matt Charlton', 'Ciara Mcquillan', 'Aoife O Riordain', 'Joanna Taylor']

As central as you can get, and with a mean line in soda bread and porridge (don’t have one on top of the other though… very carby), this hotel, built on the site of local institution Bartley Dunne’s pub, is fresh from a 2022 refurb.
From classic kings to suites, the amenity-loaded rooms are adorned with rich copper and purple hues, accented with brown leather upholstery, boasting floor-to-ceiling windows.
The breakfast is generous and of a high quality, with the aforementioned soda bread and porridge along with the usual buffet options and a side helping of fresh honeycomb and barista coffee.
The other food offerings include the atmospheric Bartley’s Restaurant, serving elevated pub fare in an old school Manhattan-esque atmosphere, and a coffee terrace (with pastries) just off the lobby.
