- Advertisement -RAWALPINDI, Oct 03 (APP):The District Health Authority (DHA) Rawalpindi is stepping up its campaign against dengue fever as the city continues to record a steady influx of cases. The health authority confirmed that after screening a 11,650 patients so far in 2025, a total of 730 confirmed dengue cases have been reported across the district. During the last 24 hours alone, health data revealed 25 new confirmed cases were reported, leading to the admission of 61 patients in allied hospitals. The Dr. Waqar Ahmad, Spokesman DHA highlighted the recent tain in Pindi could further spike the cases due the temperature moderation. Dr. Waqar emphasized the social responsibility of following dengue SOPs, failing to which could lead to dengue fevers and financial penalties.
