A Butler man has been charged and placed in custody after he allegedly tried to escape police custody. On Wednesday, police were called to the 400 block of Negley Avenue in the City of Butler over a custody issue. Claypoole was known to the officer for having a warrant out for his arrest for failing to register with Megan’s Law.
