A substitute teacher in Vermont was cited for cocaine possession this week after a student complained she was exhibiting "unusual behavior" in the classroom she was teaching in. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe woman was identified as 47-year-old Melissa Martin, a permanent substitute teacher employed by the Barre Unified Union School District who worked at Barre Town Middle and Elementary School. The incident was reported to school staff after a student noticed Martin's "unusual behavior," police said. Police said any questions about Martin's employment should be directed to the Barre Unified School District. JoAn Canning, superintendent of the Barre School District, told WPTZ that Martin has been a permanent substitute in the district for around three years.
