In a social media post, a Sue Ryder spokesperson said: “We are really sorry to share that after months of busy planning and promotion, we have been forced to cancel Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Peterborough on Saturday, October 4. “As Storm Amy works its way across the country this weekend our venue, Nene Park, has advised that the predicted high winds pose too great a risk for the event to go ahead safely.
