Paloma Shemirani, 23, was influenced by her parents and others into not having chemotherapy after being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a coroner has found. Paloma's brothers have claimed that their parents were abusive and indoctrinated them with medical conspiracy theories from a young age. Her older brother Sebastian Shemirani, 26, said: "So Paloma was brainwashed from when she was born. Ms Wood recognised that Ms Shemirani had assumed a caring role and "did not meet the duty of care" expected of her.
